How do I install tokenkarma?
Add the browser extension from the Chrome Web Store, or get the Mac menu-bar app. Both feed the same web dashboard. Get started.
How do I connect an AI account?
Open an AI you use (for example Claude or ChatGPT) while signed in, with the extension installed. tokenkarma picks up your live usage and your tile appears in the dashboard. No passwords are shared.
Which providers can I track?
Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, Grok and Perplexity as first-class providers, plus around 80 other AI tools. See the full list of what tokenkarma tracks.
Is tokenkarma free?
Yes, it is free to start. Paid plans add usage history, alerts, more connected sources and a team console. See pricing.
Does it work on Windows?
The browser extension works in Chrome on Windows, macOS and Linux. The menu-bar app is macOS only for now.
How is my data handled?
Your usage data is sent to your private dashboard over an encrypted connection and is tied to your account. You can export everything or delete your account at any time (GDPR Articles 15 and 17), and you can disconnect any source whenever you want.
Why is a provider showing no usage?
Open that provider in your browser while signed in, with the extension active, then refresh the dashboard. If it still does not appear, the provider may have changed how it reports usage; check the changelog or contact support.
When do my limits reset?
It depends on the provider. Most use rolling windows rather than fixed-clock resets. tokenkarma shows the exact reset time per limit. See the limits comparison for how each provider works.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
